Tell Jeff Sessions to #ProtectTransKids
Attorney General Jeff Sessions reversed Obama-era protections for transgender students (under Title IX) that permitted them to use the school bathrooms that matched their gender identity. Trans students face high rates of bigotry and bullying–more than 40% of trans individuals attempt suicide at some point in their lives. Our government should ensure safety and promote acceptance for trans students, instead it’s enabling harmful policies that discriminate against them.
