Women’s reproductive health is on the line. We are defending our rights to abortion and birth control, and advancing policies that support parents.

Abortion is legal and safe in New York, but women across the country are in peril as states rapidly move to ban and severely restrict abortion.  Right now you can take action to ensure that the fearless doctors who are providing critical care via telemedicine appointments to women in other parts of the country are able to continue to care for patients without fear of lawsuits or challenges to their professional licenses. That includes physicians, clinicians and pharmacists. Call your New York Legislative Assembly Representative Today.

This important legislation has passed the Senate, we just have to get it passed in the Assembly. We work every day in Albany and with the legislators. Our ears are on the ground. Stay Tuned. We’ll be bringing more actions in the coming days.

Take Action

Defend Reproductive Rights.

The Reproductive Health Act protects New Yorkers’ rights

The replacement of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg with ultra-conservative Amy Coney Barrett puts Americans’ reproductive rights in great peril. Roe v. Wade is at risk of being overturned, and that means women in 24 states and three territories would likely be prohibited from having an abortion. Fortunately, New York is one of seven states with laws already on the books to protect abortion access.

The Reproductive Health Act ensures women in New York will have access to abortion regardless of what happens to Roe v. Wade. We are proud to have fought for this legislation — access to reproductive healthcare is an essential pillar of the comprehensive healthcare we deserve. And we’ll continue to work to keep New York State a beacon for meeting women’s reproductive healthcare needs with compassion and urgency. Get the facts about New York’s Reproductive Health Act:
