Kavanaugh Confirmed But We Won’t Give Up
It has been a hard two weeks, as women and survivors were silenced by too many of our elected officials. We may be disappointed and outraged, but this will only inspire us to increase our efforts to elect new leaders this November 6th. People are fired up, united in protest, and now is NOT the time to give up.
It is clear, more now than ever, that we have to vote in leaders who will listen.
Our leaders are ignoring us and that’s why we need to replace them.
Join the Women Electing Women NOW Team of volunteers for the most consequential midterm election of our lives, as we support candidates by canvassing, phone banking and Get Out The Vote efforts.
Our greatest power is at the ballot box this November 6th. Republicans are fired up over Kavanaugh’s nomination and that is why we need you to take action NOW. We must seize this pivotal opportunity to elect leaders who will denounce sexism and racism and who will stand up for women.
“We are going to have to live with the results of this vote for decades. In fact, our daughters and sons are going to be the most deeply impacted by what happens in the next 48 hours. We unequivocally believe that Kavanaugh’s record and his performances at his nomination hearings do not meet the standard of integrity and character we must uphold for our Supreme Court.” Sonia Ossorio, NOW-NYC President.
