Clinic Escort Training
Across the US, women’s health clinics are under siege by extreme anti-choice protesters. And it’s happening here in our backyard. Every Saturday, NOW-NYC clinic escorts help women and families to safely enter a health clinic in Jamaica, Queens. Volunteers provide a warm, welcoming presence in the face of anti-choice protesters who try to shame and intimidate women from entering the clinic.
At this training, presented by NOW-NYC Staff and the Volunteer Leaders of the Clinic Escort Program, you will get on-the-ground tips on how to be an effective clinic escort and learn the ins and outs of clinic access laws. We will end the training with a Q&A session.
Space is limited – RSVP for the training here!
