NYC Pride March
March with us at the 2017 NYC Pride March and join in on one of the greatest parties of the year! The NYC Pride March is a celebration of the LGBTQI community and is the largest Pride gathering in the world. For the first time in 47 years, NYC Pride will be televised live on ABC – help us make this year the biggest and best Pride March ever!
HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED:
In 1969, after ongoing police raids at the Stonewall Inn, a well-known bar in the gay community, patrons were fed up and struck back. In 1970, New York held the first ever Gay Pride March to commemorate the Stonewall Riots. And with that first march, a fabulous new tradition was born. And we will not go back!
In the wake of the 2016 election and the renewed bigotry coursing through our government and country, we need to march in solidarity. Come out to support equality and show the Trump administration that attacks on LGBTQI rights are attacks on us all. We will not tolerate bigotry and hate.
Sign up here. You must RSVP to receive the designated starting location and be permitted access to the march.
