Sex Trafficking: A Wake Up Call – An Event for Men
When: Tuesday, May 22, at 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM with reception following
Where: Duane Morris LLP, 1540 Broadway, New York, NY 10036-4086 (building entrance on 45th Street, just east of Times Square)
Each night in New York, more than 4,000 underage youth are bought, sold, and trafficked for sexual purposes. Sex trafficking is a multibillion dollar industry and the fastest growing criminal enterprise in the world. The majority of victims in the United States are women and girls, often as young as 12 years old.
Join Duane Morris LLP, National Council of Jewish Women – New York, and We Were Slaves: The Jewish Community Unites Against Sex Trafficking for an informal panel discussion to find out how New York courts, law enforcement, community-based service providers and activists are addressing sex trafficking in our own backyard.
RSVP here. If you have questions or concerns, contact Aviva Zafoff at email@example.com or 646.884.9466.
