Allows individuals with incomes slightly above Medicaid’s mandated maximums, but with high medical expenses, to qualify for Medicaid coverage. Also known as “spend down” or “surplus” program.
Offers care management services to enrolled individuals meeting Health Home criteria.
Administered jointly by the New York State Department of Health (DOH) and New York State Department of Education, the program allows Medicaid to cover medical services for eligible children with disabilities.
