New York — The National Organization for Women – New York today endorsed Governor Kathy Hochul for a full term. NOW-NY commended Governor Hochul’s leadership for championing women’s rights and delivering results for families across New York.

NOW-NY amplifies the voices of women and girls through action and advocacy by advancing legislation, promoting women in politics, fighting for reproductive justice, and challenging discrimination and violence against women.

“As the first woman governor of New York, I am incredibly honored to be endorsed by NOW-NY, whose advocacy has empowered and elevated the voices of women in New York for decades,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “My path to the governorship was paved by a strong line of women who came before me and it is my responsibility to hold the doors of opportunity open for all the women who will follow. As governor, I’ll continue to work every single day to advance equality, defend reproductive rights, and protect women in the workplace all across the state.”
