September 24, 2020 — New York, NY — Yesterday’s news about the police officers who shot and killed Breonna Taylor in her home brings more suffering and injustice to her family. This is another innocent life lost. Reforming policing, ending discriminatory laws, and challenging systemic racism must be our collective priority. We must continue to Say Her Name, because it is for Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner and so many others that we can’t give up on demanding change.
