Since the last debate the House has voted to impeach Trump. Speaker Pelosi will lead a vote in the House tomorrow to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate.
A LOT of other things have happened, too:
- Trump ordered an airstrike within the first days of the new year that brought the U.S. and Iran to the brink of war.
- 207 members of congress signed an amicus brief asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reconsider Roe v. Wade. Check out this digital map to see what happens without Roe.
- Trump’s administration is expected to expand the travel ban to 7 new countries.
- Trump’s new rule for recipients of the food stamps program (SNAP) will cut off 700,000 people from getting the assistance they need.
